ICD-11 definition : Metastatic carcinoma may invade the skin may arise as a result of direct spread from an underlying malignant neoplasm, most commonly carcinoma of the breast, or as the result of lymphatic or haematogenous spread from a distant site. Appearances vary considerably from discrete tumour nodules, which may ulcerate, to diffuse dermal infiltration with secondary changes due to disturbances of vascular or lymphatic drainage.;
