ICD-11 definition : Keratosis lichenoides chronica is a rare chronic lichenoid inflammatory dermatosis
of adults with striking clinical and histological features. The characteristic widespread
striate and reticulate verrucous plaques which form on the trunk are formed by coalescence
of a profusion of papules which develop around follicular and eccrine duct ostia.
The latter exhibit a lichenoid interface dermatitis with numerous necrotic keratinocytes
beneath a parakeratotic epidermis rich in neutrophils. It is typically associated
with a seborrhoeic dermatitis-like facial rash. The cause is unknown.;
