ICD-11 definition : Chronic pelvic pain, often beginning at ovulation and lasting till the end of menstruation, marked by an often bulky uterus, multiple ovarian functional cysts and tender uterus, parametria and uterosacral ligaments. Pelvic congestion is caused by congestion of veins draining ovaries and uterus diagnosed during transuterine venography and possibly suspected during pelvic ultrasound, MRI or laparoscopy.;
