ICD-11 definition : Papular amyloidosis (lichen amyloidosus) presents as multiple discrete, firm, pruritic, skin-coloured or hyperpigmented papules which have a tendency to coalesce into plaques. These are located most commonly on the shins though the thighs and upper extremities may also be affected. The amyloid material is thought to originate from degenerate keratinocytes. Papular amyloidosis tends to be persistent and resistant to treatment.;
