ICD-11 definition : Miliaria profunda is due to rupture of eccrine sweat ducts at the level of or below the dermo–epidermal junction. It nearly always follows repeated attacks of miliaria rubra and occurs most commonly in the tropics. It manifests as multiple small asymptomatic firm pale papules located typically on the trunk but sometimes also on the limbs.;
