ICD-11 definition : Patients with acquired hypocalciuric hypercalcemia present the same clinical features to those with familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia. While familial hypocalciuric hypercalcemia is caused by mutations in several genes including CASR which encodes calcium-sensin receptor, acquired hypocalciuric hypercalcemia is caused by teh production of inhibitory antoantibodies to calcium-sensing receptor.;
