ICD-11 definition : Iododerma is a rare cutaneous reaction to systemically administered iodine. Formerly
it was seen principally as a chronic eruption from prolonged exposure to iodide-containing
medications such as cough medicines. More recently it has been associated with a more
acute eruption following administration of iodide-containing radiocontrast media.
It is characterized by vegetating acneform nodules and plaques typically affecting
the face, neck, forearms and flexures.;
