ICD-11 definition : A disease caused by an infection with Chapare virus. This disease is characterized by microvascular damage. This disease presents with fever, vomiting, myalgia, anorexia, arthralgia, epistaxis, haematemesis, melena, haematuria, or shock. Transmission is by inhalation, consumption, or direct contact with excretions and body fluids from infected rodents. Confirmation is by identification of Chapare virus.;
